 Pantech comes back with their latest mobile phone designed for women. Available in pink, black, and silver models, the Crystal IM-S500K features a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD screen, a 2MP shooter, a music player, and a dictionary. What makes this handset interesting is that it comes equipped with a biorhythm calculator that will display user’s actual mood on its unique crystal lid. Pricing info is still unknown.

Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet.

Pong ( iPhone ) Case comes to reduce mobile phone radiation



Pong Research Company’s new cell phone case claims to reduce mobile phone radiation from the antenna thanks to the use of its tight silicone skin. The skin contains a proprietary technology module that is aligned with the phone’s antenna and attracts the radiative energy up and away from the user’s head. The user will still maintain a full-strength signal without compromising the cell phone’s battery life or functionality. According to tests conducted by the Federal Communications Commission, radiation levels have been reduced by up to 60%, while the hotspot cell phone radiation is down by 85%. The case is currently available only for the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS for $59.95 a pop. The Blackberry and other models will be available later this year

New Samsung Giorgio Armani ( W820 / W8200 ) Shows Up In Korea



Samsung in collaboration with Giorgio Armani have come out with a new Armani phone for the South Korean market called the W820 / W8200. Featuring a golden trim around its screen, this slider phone offers a 3.1-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5MP camera, a front camera for video-calling, T-DMB, Bluetooth and HSDPA connectivity. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet.

New Gadget XSKN iKeyboard For ( iPhone )



XSKN has produced a Bluetooth keyboard for the iPhone and iPod touch namely the iKeyboard. The device is actually a modified Apple Bluetooth keyboard featuring icons on the keys. XSKN will release the iKeyboard by the end of the year for $160 a pop.

Sony Ericsson has introduced the Sony Xperia Pureness at a business update meeting in London. The company mentioned the new Xperia Pureness as “a work of art rather than technology” and something that reflects the “purity of water”. U.S. Cellular is set to launch another messaging phone from LG namely the LG Bliss. This new handset is packed with a large 3-inch touchscreen display, a 2MP camera with video recording, a full QWERTY onscreen keyboard, a music player, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), a full HTML browser and E-mail Client with new message notifications and Bluetooth connectivity. The LG Bliss will be available at U.S. Cellular retail locations, or via www.uscellular.com starting this month for unannounced price yet.

New ( LG GM750 ) come With Windows Mobile 6.5 OS



Vodafone and LG have joined together to release the LG GM750, a new Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone that should become available across Europe starting October 6th, 2009. The phone is actually an upgraded version of the LG GM730. The handset comes jam packed with a 3-inch touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels, Wi-Fi, 3G, Microsoft My Phone, Windows Live, a 5MP camera, and LG’s S-Class 3D UI.

Nokia Mural comes for AT&T



AT&T has just introduced the Mural Flip from Nokia. It is actually a basic 3G handset that comes equipped with a 2-megapixel camera, a microSDHC memory card slot, and integrated messaging and social networking capabilities. The handset will be available at selected AT&T stores and online from September 6th onwards for $49.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a mail-in rebate.

Dell Mini 3i Now Have been Available In China



The Dell Mini 3i is now available in China. This heavily-armored touch phone features a 3MP camera with a 3.5-inch 360 x 240 capacitive touch screen, a 3-megapixel camera and a microSD slot. As you can see in the picture above, the Dell Mini 3I is smaller than the iPhone.




Samsung Galaxy Lite i5700 Gets Pictured



French Android-fansite FrAndroid has managed to reveal the first exclusive picture of Samsung’s upcoming Android smartphone ‘Galaxy Lite i5700′. According to them, the handset will feature a trackball, WiFi, 3G+ (HSDPA), GPS, Bluetooth and come preloaded with Google services. The phone is rumored to launch in France via Bouygues Telecom in October. Stay tuned for more updates.

Samsung Electronics today announced the availability of their first full-touch phone designed to support the digitally connected lifestyles of today’s young mobile users. Known as the Corby (model: S3650), the handset supports Quad-band GSM support, EDGE connectivity, a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen with TouchWiz UI, Bluetooth, a 2MP camera, an FM Radio, e-dictionary, an MP3 player, a USB 2.0 and a microSD card slot. Available in Jamaican Yellow, Cupid Pink, Minimal White, and Festival Orange, the Samsung Corby will be available in European countries starting from mid September for around 150 Euros ($215).

The Sendstation PocketDock Line Out Mini USB is a useful accessory for your iPhone or iPod that allows you to sync and charge with mini USB. It also comes with a 3.5mm line out audio jack, which is supposed to give you clearer sound quality than the headphone jack. If you are interested, the Sendstation PocketDock Line Out Mini USB is available for $30.

Sunno S880 Smartphone With ( Dual-Boot Feature )



Chinese-based company, Sunno is reportedly working on their new smartphone called the S880. This new handset will use of Android + Windows Mobile dual-system operation and feature a 3.6-inch WVGA display, a 806MHz CPU, an 8-megapixel camera, a 256/128MB RAM, GPS and WiFi connectivity. The 3G full touchscreen phone comes equipped with a high-resolution AMOLED display and supports high-quality video formats such as DivX, H.264, MPEG4, and AC-3. Other cool features including “One-finger Zoom” function, T-DMB, a 5MP camera, Bluetooth connectivity and a navigation support. No info on pricing so far.

Motorola ( A45 Murano AKA Motocubo A45 )



Motorola today announced the Motorola A45 Murano in Brazil, under the name of Motocubo A45. Designed for young mobile users, the Motocubo A45 is a messaging phone with a landscape QVGA display and a sliding QWERTY keyboard. The phone features Quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity, an MP3 player, a 3.5mm headset jack, an FM radio with RDS, and a 2MP camera. The phone will be available starting September for $293.

China Unicom To Release ( iPhone 3G In October 2009 )



Unicom and Apple have signed an agreement regarding the release of iPhone 3G in China. The country’s second largest mobile carrier will release the iPhone 3G in 8GB and 16GB models. For your info, the smartphone is already available in China, but only on the grey market, where it is sold for prices between 3,600 and 4,000 CNY ($526 – $585). China Unicom’s iPhone 3G will be released in October 2009. The 8GB will cost 2,500 CNY ($365) with a monthly plan of at least 186 CNY ($27) and a contract agreement for 2 years.

Here’s the first official picture of Nokia’s upcoming N97 Mini handset. It’s said that the N97 Mini will have almost the same features like the original N97, except for a few changes which will include a redesigned QWERTY keypad, an 8GB of internal memory and no lens cover. The N97 Mini will probably make its debut during Nokia World 2009 next week.

Sirius Introduces Satellite ( Radio ) For The iPhone


Sirius XM today unveiled its in-car XM SkyDock that will turn your iPhone or iPod Touch into a satellite radio. The gadget comes equipped with a built-in FM transmitter for relaying the music to your car stereo. The XM SkyDock relays that music via Sirius XM’s new PowerConnect system, which transmits the FM signal through your car’s electronics system rather than over the air to provide better audio reception. The Sirius XM SkyDock will be available this fall for $120 (plus that $13/month subscription — $8 if you already subscribe).

Verizon Wireless has launched a new entry-level phone from Personal Communications Devices targeted towards globetrotters and jet-setters. Dubbed as the Escapade, this simple clamshell phone offers a 2-inch internal TFT display, a 1.1-inch external CSTN display, a 2MP camera, VZ Navigator capable, Mobile Web, Mobile Email, Bluetooth, a pre-installed SIM card and supports both dual band CDMA 1X and quad band GSM/GPRS (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) connectivities, allowing users to place voice calls in more than 220 destinations worldwide. The Escapade will go on sale starting tomorrow, August 21, for $29.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate.

Apple’s iPhone 3Gs Confirmed For Korea Via KTF


You are lucky if you are living in South Korea because Apple’s iPhone 3G S will be released via KTF, the country’s second largest carrier. Kim Yeon-hak, KT Group’s CFO, has confirmed the availability of the highly anticipated smartphone in Korea. Sadly, there is no info on pricing or release date so far. I guess the handset will be similar to the one in the US. The 16GB is priced at $200, meanwhile the 32GB retails for $300.

( Does HTC Readying ) Leo, Click, Mega And Rome Smartphones?


According to many rumors, HTC is working on a new smartphone called the HTC Leo, which is likely to be some sort of a clamshell phone. It’s said that the phone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, an internal WVGA (480 x 800) display with 16:9 aspect ratio, an external QVGA display and supports Open GL 2.0. HTC is also rumored to release some other smartphones including Click (an Android-powered smartphone), Mega and Rome. Sadly, there’s no word on release date yet. AT&T has already told you that the Sony Ericsson C905a and W518a would go on sale in July 2009. The carrier looks to have kept its promise. These two handsets are now available for purchase. The C905a 8MP camera phone is priced at $179.99 after rebate and two-year agreement, meanwhile the W518a Walkman phone goes for $49.99 under the same conditions.

( New Cellphone ) Modu Handset To " Be Released This Wednesday"




Word has it that the zany modular phone platform known as Modu will be released on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009 for around $130. The phone will only be sold to select customers through their website. The lucky few who are going to get the Modu experience were identified by the carrier as “technology oriented” and will be asked to fill long feedback forms. The Modu supports 2.5G data communication while Israel is a “dominant 3rd generation market”.

MoGo Talk is the Bluetooth headset for iPhone that is capable of delivering superior audio quality in an ultra-thin design. So here are the specs, a 3-inch TFT touchscreen display with 320 x 240 pixels and 262k colors, a 5MP camera with autofocus, a music and video players, an FM-radio with RDS, a 47MB of internal memory, a microSDHC card slot (up to 8GB), a mini USB port, Stereo Bluetooth and supports quad-band GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE. What’s more, the phone also comes with an impressive battery lifetime that lasts up to 10 hours in talk-time, or up to 1.5 months in stand-by-time. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and availability yet.


FCC Approved The Next Generation ( LG Chocolate )


The LG BL40 has been approved by the FCC. Dubbed as the next generation of LG Chocolate, the phone will come with a 800 x 345 resolution display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, a Flash-based 3D UI, multitouch, AGPS, WiFi, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, and a glass screen surface that’s said to be scratch-proof.

The Almighty FCC has approved the latest slim smartphone from LG which is known as the LG GW600. It is a Windows mobile-powered smartphone that has high quality features including a resistive touchscreen display, 20-key half-QWERTY keypad, a 3.1-megapixel camera, GPS, Bluetooth, proximity sensor, light sensor, accelerometer, and a microSD slot. The phone also supports Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Dual-band WCDMA. The LG GW600 will be released in the States via AT&T very soon. We will keep you posted.

Samsung’s first Android smartphone ‘Galaxy i7500‘ is finally available in France via Bouygues Telecom. There are two options available, either for €89 ($125) with a 2-year contract agreement and after an exclusive 50 Web discount or for €429 ($605) with free of contract. In case you’ve forgotten, the i7500 offers a 3.2-inch AMOLED display with 320 x 480 resolution, a 5MP autofocus camera, an 8GB of internal memory, WiFi, 3G, GPS and supports 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity.

The unlocked version of Samsung Omnia II is now available in Singapore for SGD$898 (US$618). The Samsung Omnia II is a Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone (upgradeable to WM 6.5) that features a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels, TouchWiz 2.0 3D User Interface, HSDPA/HSUPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 3.5mm headset jack, and a 5MP digital camera with Autofocus with DVD-like video recording. Korean giant Samsung will also release the Symbian-powered i8910 Omnia HD in Singapore on August 1st, 2009 for SGD$1,098 (US$756).

New ( DoCoMo SH-08A Solar Hybrid ) Phone


DoCoMo has announced that they will release the SH-08A Solar Hybrid phone in September 2009. This solar-powered phone is also rugged enough to be waterproof. Its body is resistant to water sprays from all directions and submergible to depths up to one meter. The DoCoMo SH-08A can be recharged with sunlight as well as electricity. Even if the battery has completely lost its charge, just 10 minutes of solar recharging via a solar panel on the phone’s body provides approximately one minute of talk time. The phone comes with an 8-megapixel CCD camera that takes excellent photographs in low light environment. The DoCoMo SH-08A Solar Hybrid Phone will be exhibited at the DoCoMo booth at Wireless Japan 2009

Canadian wireless carrier, Fido has recently launched another entry-level phone from LG namely the GB250. This clamshell phone offers a 2-inch 176 x 220 pixels internal display, a 1.3MP camera with video capture ability, a microSD card slot (up to 4GB), an MP3 player, an FM radio and Bluetooth connectivity. The LG GB250 retails for $35 with a 2-year contract agreement or for $175 prepaid or outright.
